Took a chance on the expensive shop and honestly no regrets so far

I'll admit I almost went with the cheapest quote for my A8's transmission rebuild. I mean money is money right? But something told me to spend a bit more and go with a place that had really detailed reviews and actual photos of their workshop. Ended up choosing a shop that calls itself a Premier Audi Specialist Sharjah and yeah the price was maybe 20 percent higher than the lowest bid. But the difference in how they handled everything was night and day. They sent me videos of the torn down transmission showing exactly which parts were worn, gave me a full parts list with prices, and even washed the car before giving it back. The work came with a 12 month warranty too. It's only been a few weeks but the car drives perfectly and I don't have that nagging worry in the back of my mind. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for I guess. Anyone else gone with the pricier option and felt it was worth it?
