Which lidded crate size actually works best for UAE food delivery runs?

Hi everyone, so I want to share something I've been working through at my job because I think a lot of people in food logistics here face the same challenge and there isn't much honest discussion about it in forums like this. I work for a family owned food trading company that has been operating in the UAE for about eight years and we recently started taking on contracts that require us to transport more varied product types than we used to, including things that need to stay protected from dust, moisture and handling damage during the journey from our warehouse to the end customer. Our old open top crates served us well for years but we've had a few complaints recently about product condition on arrival and my manager asked me to look into whether a lidded solution would help address that without completely overhauling how our drivers handle loading and unloading. I came across the 5032 series lidded crate while browsing through crateco.ae and found the specifications genuinely interesting because the dimensions seem to sit in a sweet spot that works for both shelved warehouse storage and fitting multiple units on a standard delivery vehicle without wasted space. What I'm trying to understand better before recommending anything to management is how the lid mechanism performs after months of heavy daily use, specifically whether it stays secure during transit on roads that aren't always perfectly smooth and whether the hinges or clips tend to wear out faster than the crate body itself. Has anyone here actually used this particular crate size in a similar distribution setup across the UAE and can give an honest account of how it held up after a full year of regular use?
